This roof-cleaning project was completed in Worthing, West Sussex. The roof had a heavy build-up of moss and organic growth across the tiles, so the job focused on careful manual moss removal followed by a post-treatment to help control remaining organic growth.
Location: worthing
Service: Roof Cleaning
Method: manual moss removal
Post-treatment: Biocide
The roof had a noticeable build-up of moss and organic growth, with the heaviest accumulation concentrated around the ridge and upper sections of the roof. The moss was carefully removed using a combination of telescopic tools and hand tools to work across the tiled surface.
For this project, SkyClear Solutions used a combination of telescopic roof-cleaning tools and hand tools to remove the moss from the roof surface. This allowed the build-up to be worked away carefully while adapting the cleaning method to different areas of the roof.
The heavy moss build-up was removed, leaving the roof surface visibly cleaner and the tiles much more exposed. The follow-up biocide treatment was then applied as part of the completed roof-cleaning process.
